Sun Valley REALTORS Give veteran housing assistance program provides a range of assistance to promote sustainable housing solutions for Blaine County veterans and their families.
For years this program has provided veterans in need with support in rent, first-time homebuyer assistance, moving expenses, rental search, adapting homes for disabilities, and major home repairs. Community support helps to ensure that the nationwide epidemic of veteran homelessness never impacts our county. All of our efforts stay local and your donations go directly toward helping veterans in Blaine County.
Housing Assistance
5B REALTORS for Veterans helps provide housing assistance in a variety of ways, including: moving expenses, rental search, adapting homes for disabilities, interest rate buy downs, down payment assistance and first time home buyer assistance. Since the inception of the program, we have provide over $60,000 in housing assistance.
Repair Fair
Each year we choose one local veteran and hold an annual veteran repair fair. With the help of multiple volunteers and generous local businesses we help do any home repairs the veteran requests. Last year we replaced a fence and re-graded the driveway for better drainage. Past projects have included a new carport, converting a bathtub into a stand up shower, extensive yard maintenance, and tree removal.
